Ubuntu is an excellent Linux distro that has enormous application and various excellent features. Ubuntu has recently release its new version 10.10. Therefore everyone who is using previous Linux distro wants to upgrade to the new version 10.10. For this purpose you don’t have to download the new copy of new version, uninstall the previous one and install new version again. This process can be simply done by just few commands. The upgrading procedure is quite simple but I personally recommended to backup your system before upgrading to ubuntu version 10.04
1. Press Alt + F2 and enter: “update-manager -d”, and click on run.
2. First install all the updates of the current version then click on upgrade and follow the instruction on the screen.
