google earth 6.2 ubuntu

Google earth 6.2 has been released with new improvement rendering imagery.  The installation process is simple you can just grab the deb file and install it in your desktop using GUI or terminal. After installation the crappy look of Google earth with missing font is a real big headache.

The problem occurs due to missing lsb-core and msttcorefonts.  To install it in ubuntu Open your terminal(CTRL+ALT+T) and run the following command.

sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts lsb-core

Those who haven’t download Google earth can download it here (Available for ubuntu, Debian, Fedora or openSUSE (.deb, .rpm)
