Install Firefox 8 in Ubuntu via ppa

Firefox 8 has recently been available at Firefox ftp server. Ubuntu 11.04 and Ubuntu 11.10 user can wait for the update to be available in their daily update session. however for the user below these version┬áneed to install Firefox 8 via ppa. Ubuntu 11.04 and Ubuntu 11.10 user can also use the following ppa to install firefox 8. Please note that this ppa will install new Firefox for Ubuntu named “nightly” Therefore Please search the application after installing it.

To install Firefox 8 via ppa open terminal(ctrl+Alt+T) and use the following command

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox-trunk
